AdSense Dominator Review

Software Type: Web Based Software
Cost: $ 26.33 per month.

As you might realize by now I am a fan of the keyword research and adwords management solutions that are produced by Chris Lee and Goran Nagy. Both their Keywords Analyzer and AdWords Dominator products have been top notch. They both had good usability, excellent attention to detail, and generally a workflow that matched well the way I work. When I heard they were coming out with a new product called AdSense Dominator that focused on researching data for AdSense niche development I was excited.

They released this product a few months back, and I have been using it in my own research for other projects, but have not had a chance to formally review it. I figured it was about time I did.

My Experience

Unlike Keywords Analyzer and AdWords Dominator, AdSense Dominator is a simple, no frills product. Now don’t get me wrong. I don’t need bells and whistles. If it does the job, I am happy to be relieved of other stuff that is just going to complicate the process.

AdSense Dominator has 4 major drawcards.

  1. Over 1 million keyword phrases that refresh every 60 days. Unlike buying keyword lists that quickly become stale, this means your AdSense intelligence is always up to date.
  2. The ability to mine data keywords that are not in the list.
  3. The ability to do advanced searches that limit the data based on Results, Cost, Clicks, Searches, Google campaigns, Overture campaign, Miva campaigns.
  4. Each keyword contains data for the number of searches, results, R/S, Cost, Clicks, Google Ads, Overture Ads, Miva.

For most people this is pretty much exactly the feature set they require. AdSense mining tools like Keyword Country provide extra data like other recommended phrases, average cost per click, more keyword phrases as well as niche ratings however are twice the price. So you might be willing to sacrifice these features to save some coin and have a more simple approach.

Let me show you AdSense Dominator in action using my faithful keyword phrase of "fly fishing".

Once logged in I was presented with a very simple screen. I had either the option of using the simple search or the advanced search. Here I ran my search and I found about 430 keyword phrases associated with my keyword. That is a pretty good number to work with.

I then ran an advanced search on the data to see if I could focus down on a sub-niche that I could use to create pages to bring me high AdSense income. I went through each of the advanced search options and set up the search according to my methodology.

I left "Results" blank because I feel that is a poor indicator of competition anyway. I left "Clicks" blank because I reckon I can get better click through rates on my Ads (using Joel Comms methods) than Chris or Goran gives me credit for. I set the "Max Cost" to be at least $3.00 and the "Number of Searches" to be at least 20. I set the "Number of Google Ads" to be at least 8 so I knew I would have some stability in the ad cost. I left the other sections blank as I felt they were irrelevant.

AdSense Dominator returned me 34 search terms. Nice one! I now have 34 phrases I could base pages around that would hopefully bring me some decent AdSense income.

The next thing I tried was seeing how the software would go for a search term that did not appear in the database. I threw "fly fishing in australia" at it and it politely told me it wasn’t in the database, but could go and find it if I want it to. Yes please I said! It said the item was added to the queue. I checked back later and bang, it was in there.

So all in all, this is a nice product if you require a simple and fast solution for researching sub-niches that are going to generate good AdSense income. It isn’t as feature rich as Keyword Country, but it is also not as expensive.

One extra bonus to sweeten the deal is they give away their Keyword Analyzer (which is one of my favorite keyword research tools) software with the subscription. The subscription actually costs less than the software, so it is a fantastic deal.

As I am doing mostly websites that monetize using Adsense. I have came across services like this and am a bit skeptical. The membership fees are not low. Joel Comm did recommend another similar service. If you would be interested to review this one, it would be great as well. Here is the URL : www.adsenseaccelerator.com It is more expensive that adsense dominator, about double the price. It is definitely one of the popular ones.
